What is Mighty Apps?

Mighty Apps is a suite of social apps designed for Facebook Pages and iframe (website embed).

The suite includes five apps: Welcome Page, Form, Coupon, Voting Gallery and Media Gallery. We’ll be adding more in the future, so let us know what you’d like to see!

How does Mighty Apps differ from its competitors?

Mighty Apps is a complete do-it-yourself package for brands, businesses and organizations on Facebook. It’s the first suite of apps specifically designed for Facebook Pages & websites.

Unlike other vendors, we pose no limits on the number of apps you launch or on the number of Pages and Likes you have on your account. You get unlimited use of our apps with one monthly subscription.

While there are other options available for creating apps, we believe there is an opportunity to deliver between the lower-end “cookie cutter” apps and the higher-priced enterprise social media management systems. Mighty apps is a premium quality product that is available for less than $5 a day.

Do users need to grant any permissions to Mighty Apps on Facebook?

No, by default, users don't need to grant any permissions to Mighty Apps. This means your fans can interact with and participate in your Mighty Apps freely!

You can, however, choose to enable Facebook OAuth in apps where a user action must be verified (applicable to Coupon and Voting Gallery apps only):

• Coupon: (Coupon Builder > Claiming > Claiming Method) Select 'Users must grant access to their basic Facebook data' as the Claiming Method option. With this option, Facebook user data is collected for your records.
  • Claiming Method options that do not require Facebook OAuth: 'Users simply click the “Claim” button', 'Users must complete a custom survey'.
• Voting Gallery: (Voting Gallery Builder > Timeline > Voting Restrictions) Select 'Allow one vote per entry' or 'Allow one vote in total' as the Voting Restrictions option. Facebook user data is used to validate votes.
  • Voting Restrictions option that does not require Facebook OAuth: 'Allow unlimited votes'.

With Facebook OAuth enabled, users will be presented with a familiar Facebook auth dialog box when they take the desired action in your Coupon or Voting Gallery app. The user will see that they must 'Log In with Facebook' in order to participate. By proceeding, the user grants the app permission to access their basic profile information and will be taken to your app.

Access the user data collected though Facebook OAuth (name, email, location, gender, auto opted in for newsletter/communication) in your Strutta Dashboard as a CSV download (Dashboard > Tools > Export Data).

Do I need to be a designer or know HTML to use Mighty Apps?

Absolutely not! Our do-it-yourself tools are designed to be as simple and flexible as possible.

While there are options for customized design and areas where simple HTML can be used, Mighty Apps has professional and polished templates that look great off-the-shelf! You can make them your own with very little effort.

How do I get started with Mighty Apps?

How long does it take to set up a Mighty App?

Set up is incredibly easy. You can build and launch Mighty Apps within minutes!

Our do-it-yourself Mighty Apps builder will walk you through all steps required to launch a full-featured Facebook app. For example, adding social network feeds like Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube to your Media Gallery app is done by ticking a checkbox under the ‘Feeds’ step and entering your username.

Can you set restrictions to access or entry to Mighty Apps?

With all Mighty Apps you have the option to set up a Fan Gate. Fan Gating means only those who Like your Page can access the app's content.

No particular regional or age restrictions can be set on a Mighty App. However, any restrictions set on your Facebook Page will apply to the app.

Note: The Fan Gate feature is only available if you are launching the App on Facebook. Fan Gating is not available if you launch the App as an iframe (website embed).

How does pricing work?

The full Mighty Apps social suite is available on a monthly subscription basis that breaks down to less than $5 per day. Unlike some other vendors that charge based on number of fans (Likes) on your Page, we have made our pricing extremely simple:

How many Pages and apps can I manage with one Mighty Apps subscription?

There is no limit to the number of Facebook Pages you mange and Mighty Apps you launch with your Mighty Apps subscription.

For example, you could manage 10 Facebook Pages and have 20 Mighty Apps on each Page or manage 1 Facebook Page and have 2 Mighty Apps on it. It's all the same price: $99/month.

Please note: Each Mighty App can be installed on one Facebook Page or one website only; you cannot launch the same Mighty App on multiple Facebook Pages. Please create separate Mighty Apps for each Facebook Page that you manage.

Does Strutta offer a White Label version of Mighty Apps?

Currently, no. Mighty Apps has a number of professionally designed templates for you to choose from, some of which you can customize.

How can I add official rules to the Mighty Apps if I am running a giveaway?

You can add any legal terms to the description section (simple HTML is allowed) of your Mighty App. However, please note that Mighty Apps are not intended for Facebook promotions. Strutta's Power Promos products are designed and optimized for contest and sweepstake giveaway promotions. If you choose to use this app to run a sweepstakes or contest, you are responsible for ensuring your promotion is compliant with all Facebook Page and promotion guidelines as well as any other applicable laws and regulations.
